Located in Building 116 (below the canteen), the fitness centre boasts new body bikes and fitness equipment of the highest quality. The fitness centre opened in November 2013 following a refurbishment, which also included the women's and men's locker rooms. The centre is open from 5.00  – 22.45 p.m. seven days a week.
The philosophy behind the fitness centre is to give users a say in how the centre should be, but, in return, we expect them to also take joint responsibility for the centre, handle the equipment properly, and clean up after themselves. If the users live up to this, it will be possible to continuously upgrade the centre, and also to keep the membership fee at an attractive level.
Members of the Risoe fitness centre have access to the following activities:
  • Fitness
  • Body biking
  • Yoga
  • The gym on your own

This is a Vinyasa flow class for everyone. The term Vinyasa means to place with purpose, and we intentionally aim to move our bodies at the pace of our breath. Simple and fundamental yoga poses are tied together into a dynamic sequence guided by our breathing – a meditation in motion. The class follows a slow, steady pace, is calming, strengthening and increases overall flexibility. The breathing is an important element, since it helps us relax, increase our concentration and keep focus during challenging movements.
Each class has a theme, such as the anatomy of the spine, the rooting of our feet and cleansing twists.
Everyone are welcome!
Registration for the individual hours must be done via the booking module.
