Located in Building 116 (below the canteen), the fitness centre boasts new body bikes and fitness equipment of the highest quality. The fitness centre opened in November 2013 following a refurbishment, which also included the women's and men's locker rooms. The centre is open from 5.00 a.m. – 10.45 p.m. seven days a week.
The philosophy behind the fitness centre is to give users a say in how the centre should be, but, in return, we expect them to also take joint responsibility for the centre, handle the equipment properly, and clean up after themselves. If the users live up to this, it will be possible to continuously upgrade the centre, and also to keep the membership fee at an attractive level.
Members of the Risoe
fitness centre have access to the following activities:
  • Fitness
  • Body biking
  • Yoga
  • Bodycombat
  • The gym on your own

At this course you will receive instruction in several of the classic yoga classes and easier yoga exercises. We will go forward according to the principles of Yin yoga, that is, good time to hold the positions and stretch out, smooth, relax and loosen up in both joints and muscles. We will work with simple breathing exercises, easier meditation exercises and instruction are completed each time with relaxation.
As I am trained in the Hatha yoga tradition, there will be an opportunity to combine the teaching with Hatha yoga, compared to what we now find out.
Namaste and well met!
